Second-tier PC makers in China to adopt VIA CPUs for low-cost PCs

Due to the expected shortage of Intel Atom processors during its initial launch, several Taiwan-based and second-tier PC vendors in China have turned to order CPUs from VIA for their low-cost PCs, according to sources at PC makers.
