Taiwan market: Continuous rise in panel prices hurting sales of LCD monitors

A large increase in quotes for LCD monitor panels since March has slowed shipments of stand-alone monitors as well as reduced consumption of new monitors by end users in Taiwan, according to LCD panel makers and monitor vendors.
