PSC to sell 12-fab to subsidiary Rexchip

Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC) has decided to sell its still under-construction 12-inch Fab R1 (formerly 12C) to its subsidiary Rexchip Electronics in a deal worth NT$7.97 billion (US$240.1 million), according to PSC spokesman Eric Tang.
