TSMC production upgrade to 0.18-micron at Shanghai fab approved

Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs Investment Commission (MOEAIC) today announced that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC)'s application to migrate from 0.25-micron to 0.18-micron production at its Shanghai fab was approved.
