Delta gains Samsung CCFL validation, to stop funding RPTV business

Delta Electronics recently announced that its cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs) received validation from Samsung Electronics and that it will discontinue funding its RPTV (rear-projection TV) business due to continuous losses from the sector.
