In Taiwan, 92.9% of people who take pictures at general occasions use digital cameras, while 56.9% use cell phone cameras and 13.6% use conventional cameras, according to a survey of 520 Internet users aged 15-35 conducted by the Taiwan-based market research company InsightXplorer during August 7-11 of this year.

Of the surveyed Internet users, 97.3% have taken a photo during an event like sightseeing, a family gathering or celebration, InsightXplorer indicated. While PC hard disks are the most common type of image storage device, 77.9% of those surveyed, including those who have never taken pictures, have personal on-line photo albums.
