PC-chassis specialist Catcher Technology, which recorded growth in its consolidated sales for the fourth consecutive month in June, posted an on-month slide of 6.02% in July to NT$1.71 billion (US$35.7 million). Despite the drop in consolidated revenues last month, the overall performance still met the company's estimate, according to Catcher.
Market analysts express a positive outlook for Catcher in the latter half of this year and estimate its monthly consolidated revenues to rise sequentially from August, thanks to increasing shipments for notebook applications. In addition, shipments of handset-use magnesium cases to Motorola will kick off in September, according to the analysts.
