With the LCD monitor market maturing (the penetration rate has now surpassed 75%) and the first quarter being the traditional slow season for PC-related products, Taiwan’s LCD monitor shipments increased only 3.4% sequentially to 22.05 million units, the slowest rate of growth since the third quarter 2004.
