LPL reportedly planning 5.5G LCD production

LG.Philips LCD plans to set up a 5.5-generation (5.5G) TFT LCD plant, which will process 1,320×1,500mm glass substrates for panels for widescreen notebooks and monitors, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
