Holtek to begin production of controller chips for Skype-enabled phones in 2Q

Taiwan-based MCU (microcontroller) maker Holtel Semiconductor will begin volume production of its single-chip controller for Skype-enabled phones from the second quarter of this year, according to company president Gordon Gau.
