Taiwan makers shipped 1.54 million LCD TVs in the first half of 2005. With demand growing fast, the third quarter is expected to see shipments increase 17.7% on the second quarter's 859,000 units to reach 1.01 million units, and shipments will further rise 35.2% in the fourth quarter to 1.36 million units.Table of contents
