UMC chairman steps up to clarify relationship with Hejian

Two days after Taiwan’s Ministry of Justice (MOJ) raided UMC’s offices and the residences of some of the company’s executives, UMC chairman Robert Tsao issued a statement in Chinese hoping to clear up concerns over the case.
