Taiwan telecom authority to begin levying fees on released phone numbers

Taiwan’s Directorate General of Telecommunications (DGT), under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, plans to impose charges on released fixed-line and mobile-phone numbers, based on the user-pay principle, according to DGT.
