LED chip maker Formosa Epitaxy estimates strong pre-tax profits in 2Q

Taiwan-based Formosa Epitaxy will see estimated pre-tax profits of NT$60 million, with 172% on year growth, and gross margin of over 40% in the second quarter on larger capacity of high-luminance blue digital penetration ITO (DPI) LED chips.
