SPIL sees profits surge in 3Q

Taiwan-based Siliconware Precision Industries Ltd (SPIL) posted net sales of NT$7,200 million in the third quarter, up by 10.2% month-on-month and by 30.7% year-on-year, said chairman Bough Lin at an investors conference yesterday.
