TSMC, UMC expect 4Q utilization for advanced processing to drop

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) project their utilization rates on 0.15-micron and below processes will drop in the fourth quarter of this year, said sources.
