AU Optronics receives TFT LCD patent licensing from Fujitsu Display

AU Optronics (AUO) yesterday announced that it has received licensing for various TFT LCD technologies from Fujitsu Display Technology in exchange for an unspecified amount of money exceeding NT$300 million.
