Taiwan government sells 13.5% of Chunghwa Telecom

The Taiwan government on December 17, in its fifth attempt to privatize Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), sold a 13.5% of the company for NT$65.39 billion to eight local companies. A total of 4.67% was sold in four previous bids.
