AUO and CMO to compete for Sony 30-inch LCD TV panel orders

Sony will decide its LCD TV panel OEM suppliers next month, and Taiwan’s AU Optronics (AUO) and Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) have sent their 30-inch LCD TV panel samples for approval, according to the Taiwan-based Economic Daily News.
