Taiwan-based e-scooter-sharing company GoShare has recently launched a new service catering to residents of specific buildings.
Following the launch of GoShare for Business in 2020 in Taiwan, the company has launced GoShare for Home. Working with a home builder, GoShare will set up e-scooter-sharing sites at two new residential complex buildings specifically serving their residents.
More and more companies are adopting the ESG governance principles and constructors are no exception. Working with green and smart building constructors, GoShare has found opportunities in providing smart mobility to companies inhabiting in such sustainable smart buildings.
According to government data, the number of smart buildings rose by 1.74% last year. Multi-purpose buildings are becoming more and more common, and green energy solutions and smart mobility will be key elements in the new architecture.
Henry Chiang, head of GoShare, said it is focusing its business development in other countries on the B2B market, while GoShare in Taiwan will continue working with the government to promote smart mobility for business. The plan for the Taiwan market is to start GoShare for Home and for Business in satellite districts in Taipei and New Taipei and provide e-scooters for people moving around their neighborhoods.
GoShare has piloted its service in Jakarta, Indonesia since late 2021.
