CHT addresses certificate controversy, emphasizes no cybersecurity issues and minimal customer impact

Google Chrome browser will stop trusting TLS certificates issued by Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) starting August 1, raising public concern. CHT chairman Alex Chien clarified that the move does not stem from a cybersecurity or national security issue.
