VIS posts record profit in 2022 despite weak 4Q

Specialty IC foundry Vanguard International Semiconductor (VIS) saw its net profits fall to a seven-quarter low of NT$2.48 billion (US$81.5 million) in the fourth quarter of 2022, but profits for the year still hit a record high of NT$15.28 billion.
