Server chassis maker Chenbro Micom has completed trial production for a few new US-based clients, with shipments expected to begin in 2023, according to the company.

While international and China-based vendors are expected to decrease procurement of servers in 2023, demand for servers in the North America market will remain strong, especially for new models equipped with Intel Eagle Stream and AMD Epyc CPU platforms, Chenbro said.

For 2023 business operation, Chenbro will develop new models of server chassis based on clients' needs and strengthen collaboration among its three factories in Taiwan and China, company chairwoman Maggi Chen noted.

Chenbro on January 9 announced that Corona Chen has been promoted to CEO and chief sustainability officer and Eric Hui, originally executive vice president, now becoming president.

Chenbro will make more efforts in development of new business including stake investment in partners, ESG (environment, social, governance) sustainable development, digital transformation of business operation, financial risk control and talent cultivation, new CEO Chen indicated.

Chenbro will integrate its internal resources with its external resources, strengthen alliance-based cooperation with suppliers, ODMs/OEMs and technological partners to create a complete ecosystem as well as make steps to realize smart manufacturing to hike efficiency in production and operation, new president Hui pointed out.

Chenbrp has reported consolidated revenues of NT$1.090 billion (US$35.6 million) for December, increasing 39.68% on month and 16.87% on year, those of NT$2.657 billion for the fourth quarter of 2022, decreasing 12.28% sequentially but growing 1.46% on year, and those of NT$10.558 billion for 2022, rising 12.04% on year.
