Innolux, along with subsidiary CarUX, has cut into the supply chain of many significant car vendors, including BMW, Tesla, Volkswagen, General Motors (GM), Audi and Geely Auto.

CarUX, headquartered in Singapore, has been an exclusive supplier of 31-inch 8K backseat entertainment display systems for BMW's next-generation 7-series car models.

According to industry sources, CarUX has been one of the tier-1 suppliers for BMW in Europe and GM in the US.

Sources at Innolux said that CarUX is striving to achieve breakthroughs in automotive display solutions regarding application sizes, curved surfaces, and profile cutting, transforming itself into a tier-1 system integrator.

CarUX also provides automotive interior decoration processing services, including out-mold decoration (OMD) and soft materials mounting and coating.

The sources disclosed that CarUX has recently released a 12.3-inch low-reflection one-body black display for automotive applications. With an LCD reflectance rate below 0.5%, the black display can reduce driver's eye discomfort or visual interference caused by external light or visual distraction
