Automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment specialist Machvision has reported consolidated revenues of NT$211 million (US$7.1 million) for April 2018, hitting a monthly record for the 12th consecutive month.
Machvision's revenues for April 2018 represented increases of about 6% on month and 133.7% on year. The company's cumulative 2018 revenues through April came to NT$776 million, rising 141.6% from a year ago.
Machvision chairman Wang Guang-shiah was quoted in previous reports expressing optimism about the company's business prospects for 2018, with the availability of its new full-size scanning/measuring equipment. Machvision has also enjoyed growing PCB equipment demand from China, Wang added.
Machvision has reported consolidated revenues surged 76.5% on year to NT$1.42 billion in 2017, with EPS reaching a record-high NT$10.86 compared with NT$4.67 in 2016. The company expects to see its growth momentum continue in 2018.
