IC design house FocalTech Systems has announced revenues of NT$1.102 billion (US$35.53 million) for July, up 3.5% on month and 20.4% on year. For the first seven months, revenues totaled NT$6.37 billion, decreasing 2.69% from a year earlier.
FocalTech is expected to see its revenues grow 5-9% sequentially in the third quarter of 2016 amid seasonal demand for smartphones, according to a Chinese-language udn.com report.
Additionally, FocalTech has seen its gross margin continue to improve for the sixth consecutive quarter, the report said.
The company's stock priced gained NT$0.10 to finish at NT$30.65 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the August 10 session.
