With a decade of achievements, AVEXIR Technologies establishes itself as gamers' favorite

Press release 0

Driven by advanced developments in software and hardware technologies, the global gaming industry continues to generate record-breaking values. According to research reports, the total gaming value topped US$91.5 billion in 2015 and is expected to reach US$ 113.3 billion by 2018, spurred by rising popularity of professional gaming competitions around the world.

Gaming, showing amazing growth potential with total value exceeding traditional notebook computers, has become a blue ocean market in the eyes of many industry players. Many Taiwan-based computer vendors have been riding the trend by launching gaming PCs or notebooks to cater to gamers. Among the multitude of players that attempt to capture gaming opportunities, AVEXIR Technologies, founded in 2006, stands out and grabs the market's attention.

AVEXIR Technologies, specializing in memory and SSD, was already aware of growing gaming opportunities six years ago and therefore leveraged its existing high-end memory technologies to introduce a host of gaming memory products designed for computer gamers, including the Core and Raiden series. With high performance and reliability in addition to dazzling lighting effects in good match with game content, these products have won favor from many gamers and attracted partnership deals with a great number of computer brands.

When AVEXIR Technologies was established ten years ago, a decision was made for the company to venture from the conventional Taiwan OEM business model and trend toward the goal of becoming a global leader in memory application products with the AVEXIR brand, indicated Han-Hong Cheng, general manager, AVEXIR Technologies, who has over 20 years of experience in the memory market. However, in consideration of the time needed to build up its own brand, the company has been operating under two tracks – the OEM and own-brand businesses – to maintain steady growth. It is hoped high quality OEM manufacturing will help boost visibility of the AVEXIR brand.

Targeting gaming opportunities, Core and Raiden series have been winning multiple awards

Unlike other OEMs that strive to reduce production costs, AVEXIR Technologies has been upholding the philosophy "What We Believe is How We Behave" since establishment and has been adhering to the policy to provide partners with total solutions targeting specific groups. To achieve the goal of delivering premium quality memory and SSD products to partners and consumers, AVEXIR Technologies employs professionals in every stage of production from industrial design, material procurement, product manufacturing, to quality control under strict implementation and testing standards. By continuing to innovate, AVEXIR Technologies makes all efforts to develop first-class products with differentiating features.

AVEXIR Technologies' first-generation gaming memory, the Core series, for example, combines dazzling LED and light guide sticks blinking in a rhythm similar to breathing. The series, which is like an integral part of the games, has caused a sensation in the world of video games and gaming competitions, and has been widely acclaimed by gamers around the globe. It has also won iF Design Awards consecutively for two years. Furthermore, starting from 2012, AVEXIR Technologies has been working with leading motherboard makers to launch a variety of products that make use of rich combinations of lights in different colors and therefore have become top-notch products that gamers are scrambling for.

"Most memory brands limit themselves to development in performance and reliability. However, with semiconductor technologies continuing to advance, an emphasis on only performance and reliability can hardly make a brand stand out from competition. In comparison, we hold onto the value of exploring new areas with imagination and encourage employees to keep on innovating and to create a future with new thinking. This is how we are able to introduce products well received by gamers, provide the best memory to computer game players and make ourselves the world's No. 1 supplier of gaming memory," said Cheng.

The Raiden series, which the market is raving about recently, is another product that unshackles itself from the traditional memory design by using abstract geometric shapes in various colors to mimic the dynamic effects of lightning. The design makes use of asymmetric structures in combination with boldly designed bright blue and white colors as well as ion current tubes on the top delivering corresponding lightning effects. The cutting-edge design concept, catching the eyes of the panels of judges comprising designers from all over the globe, won an iF COMPUTEX d&i award in 2015 and a Red Dot Design Award in 2016, an indication that the company is already among top international players in terms of its creativity and R&D capability.

Cheng points out that with gaming notebooks becoming gamers' favorite, AVEXIR Technologies has launched SSD products supporting SATA and USB 3.1 this year. Adopting the concept of the highly praised memory with breathing lights, the S100 series is exclusively designed with uniform light guide panels that enable LED light to exhibit a natural smooth feel, creating an enjoyment with lighting effects never seen before, and bringing gamers superior gaming experiences.

AVEXIR Technologies plans to further debut a host of innovative products that are unique around the world at COMPUTEX Taipei 2016. The company will demonstrate its excellent research & development capabilities and innovative technologies in hope to win over more partnership deals with international players and thereby advance closer toward the goal of becoming a world-leading brand of memory application products.
