Taiwan attracts 2012 foreign direct investment of nearly US$5.6 billion, says MOEA

Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) approved 2,738 foreign direct investment projects (except from China) totaling US$5.559 billion in 2012, respectively increasing 19.93% and 12.18% from 2011, according to MOEA statistics.
