Japan Display to invest JPY30 billion in expanding smartphone panel production

Japan Display will reportedly invest JPY30 billion (US$365.5 million) to expand smartphone panel production at its 4.5G plant to as high as 470,000 glass substrate units a month by the beginning of 2015, according to industry sources.
