The total value of e-commerce sales transactions through B2C and C2C modes in the Taiwan market in 2012 is estimated at NT$660.5 billion (US$22.2 billion), increasing 17.4% from 2011, according to surveys conducted by the government-sponsored Institute for Information Industry (III).
The total trade value consists of NT$382.5 billion or 57.91% for B2C and NT$278 billion or 42.09% for C2C.
