Min Aik subsidiaries in Thailand suffer loss of over US$32 million due to flooding

Min Aik Technology, a Taiwan-based hard drive component maker, on October 11 indicated that its two subsidiaries in Thailand, Min Aik Technology (Thailand) and MU Technology (Thailand), have suffered an estimated total loss of US$32.621-28.621 million in damaged equipment, inventory and facilities caused by the recent flooding in the country

All of the damaged property is insured, Min Aik indicated.

Min Aik recorded consolidated revenues of NT$3.264 billion (US$113 million) for the third quarter of 2011 and revenues of NT$8.569 billion for January-September, growing on quarter by 18.8% and dropping on year by 8.22% respectively.
