Newland Computer, a China-based provider of information identification and electronic payment service based on its own two-dimension bar code decoding technology, will invest US$1 million in Taiwan-based Accuvally, according to the companies.
Accuvally, founded in 2009 by four graduate students, has developed platforms based on Microsoft Windows Azure to provide global reservation and electronic ticket identification services, according to the companies.
Newland is eyeing the international market by leveraging on Accuvally's cloud computing solutions.
