Share buy-up from ASE will not affect USI operation, says USI

A Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) spokesperson has commented on Advanced Semiconductor Engineering's (ASE's) announcement to buy up shares in USI, saying that the company had no knowledge of ASE's action before the announcement.
