Notebook makers including Quanta Computer and Compal Electronics have recently received new orders from Hewlett-Packard (HP) for August.
Quanta has received orders for an 11.6-inch model, a 15.6-inch LED backlit consumer model, a 17.3-inch model and an 18.4-inch model, while Compal will manufacture a 13.3-inch and a 14-inch enterprise model, and a 14.1-inch consumer model.
Singapore-based EMS provider Flextronics International will also start shipping a 13.3-inch notebook to HP in August.
