CCFL maker Wellypower posts profit for 2Q09

Taiwan-based CCFL maker Wellypower Optronics turned a profit in the second quarter of 2009 due to growing orders from LCD panel makers. Its net profit for the quarter totaled NT$7.88 million (US$240,440).
