LED penetration to reach 8% of LCD TV market by 2011, says Displaybank

Displaybank has forecast that LCD TVs equipped with LED BLUs (backlight units) instead of CCFLs (cold cathode fluorescent lamps) will reach 8% of the total market by 2011.
