Taiwan market: Smartphone sales top 417,000 units in 1Q08

Sales of smartphones in the Taiwan market grew by 38% on year to top 417,400 units in the first quarter of this year, with Nokia taking up a 70% share in the segment, according to data released recently by Canalys.
