Yageo fined by FTC for not declaring merger with Ta-I

Taiwan's Fair Trade Commission (FTC) on January 31 announced it has fined Yageo, the top Taiwan-based maker of passive components, NT$4.4 million (US$136,000) after the company failed to declare its merger with Ta-I Technology, a fellow Taiwan-based maker.
