Winbond confirms it is in talks to sell its 8-inch fab

Wilson Wen, spokesperson of Winbond Electronics, recently confirmed the company is in talks with several companies from Taiwan and abroad concerning the sale of its 8-inch wafer fab, but said the talks have not entered any final stage.
