Nearly 270 million residential VoIP subscribers globally by 2012, says ABI Research

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone services, which in 2006 counted less than 38 million subscribers worldwide, should have a subscriber base of over 267 million in 2012, according to ABI Research.
