BLU-maker Forward Electronics expects shipments for LCD TV applications to rise significantly in 2H

Taiwan-based backlight unit (BLU) maker Forward Electronics expects the LCD TV segment to account for 20% of its monthly shipments by year-end, up from 5% at present, according to company vice president Stephen Hsu.
