ASP for DV-use back-end ICs to drop more than 20% by year-end

The average selling price (ASP) of back-end ICs used in digital-video (DV) camcorders may drop more than 20% by the end of this year, from US$10 per chip at the beginning of this year, according to sources in Taiwan.
