AUO spends NT$4 billion to take 5.4% stake in BenQ

AU Optronics (AUO) bought 124.9 million shares of BenQ stock, or a 5.4% stake in the company, for NT$4.048 billion (US$123 million), or NT$32.40 per share, according to a release by the TFT-LCD maker.
