Aluminum-alloy chassis maker Taiwan Hodaka Technology has entered the supply chain of US-based Boeing, passing its certification for alloying casting and extrusion process engineering, according to industry sources.
Since its establishment in 2002, the company has been supplying alloy-related components for sport, consumer electronics and automotive applications and was a supplier of a major smartphone brand vendor.
The company's factory is currently located in Southern Taiwan Science Park (STSP).
Southern Taiwan Science Park Bureau said it helped Taiwan Hodaka obtain AS9100 certification and will continue helping it obtain certification from National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP).
The company is the first Taiwan-based aluminum-alloy maker to make into the supply chain of Boeing, according to the sources.
