Chip market scale in China to double in 2010, says SEMI CEO

The worldwide semiconductor equipment market will grow 47% in 2010, and the growth in China will be more than 100%, according to Stanley Myers, president and CEO of SEMI, speaking at SEMICON China that kicked off in Shanghai yesterday (March 16).
