Taiwan market: 42-inch LCD TV sales fall short of market expectations in 1H09

Despite sharp price reductions, sales of 42-inch LCD TVs in the Taiwan market grew only about 10% on-year in the first half of 2009 compared to market expectations of a 15-20% growth, according to industry sources.
