Samsung purchases from Taiwan to reach US$7 billion in 2009, sources say

Orders from Samsung Electronics for Taiwan suppliers are expected to reach US$7 billion in 2009, while Samsung Taiwan aims at US$1.5-2 billion in sales in the local market for the year, according to market sources.
