AUO remains positive about LCD TV market, despite Sony lowering its forecast

Despite Sony recently lowering its LCD TV shipment forecast for 2005, AUO remains optimistic about the TV market and AUO expects to capture 20% of the LCD TV panel market this year, according to Hsiung Hui, executive vice president of AUO.
