Nvidia on September 12 announced that IBM has selected the Nvidia nForce Professional media and communications processors (MCPs)-the company's core-logic solutions for enterprise platforms-to help power IBM's new System x3105 server.
Targeted at small business requirements, the IBM System x3105 with Nvidia's nForce Professional MCP supports dual-core AMD Opteron processors, DDR2 memory and advanced PCI Express capability.
