TI and Samsung partner to introduce 1080p DLP RPTVs that utilize an LED light engine at CES 2006

During the CES show, Texas Instruments (TI) was exhibiting a Samsung Electronics 55-inch digital-light-processing (DLP) rear-projection TV (RPTV) that featured a 1,080p (1,920x1,080) TI chip and utilized an LED light source. Samsung, at its own booth, showed a similar 56-inch DLP RPTV.
